Jon Jones? brother Chandler drafted by Patriots

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones now will have divided loyalties come this football season. His younger brother Chandler was drafted by the New England Patriots. Jones' older brother Arthur plays for the Baltimore Ravens.

As Les Carpenter pointed out in this must-read piece, the Jones family is one of the most athletic in America. All three sons are now professional athletes. In an interview with Cagewriter, Jon once said that Chandler is the best of them all.

Jon's loyalty will be tested in September, when the Patriots will head to Baltimore to face the Ravens. Jon has to hope he is not scheduled to fight at UFC 152 in Toronto, which is happening the night before his brothers play each other.

Leaked Rayman Legends for Wii U trailer showcases NFC feature (video)

If you're counting down the days till the Wii U is released, you might recall that back in January Nintendo chief Satoru Iwata said the console will ship with an NFC chip inside. Well, you can now get a taste of how games will incorporate that feature, thanks to this just-leaked trailer for Rayman Legends. According to the video, Rayman Rabbid action figures can jump into the game when a player taps them to the Wii U's screen. (It looks like that trick will work with an Assassin's Creed Ezio Auditore da Firenze figurine too.) Check out the trailer, courtesy of Gamekult, while you can -- after all, Ubisoft didn't want you to glimpse the U's magical powers just yet.

It's not like there's any shortage of alternatives, but those sticking with the ooh-ficial Twitter app on iOS and Android woke up to a rather pleasant update today. Briefly, the company's promising improvements to discover, search and notifications, with the new build allowing users to view "Activity" -- described as a "stream of updates that shows which tweets are favorited or retweeted by the people you follow and which accounts those people follow or add to lists." Search has also been made simpler in both programs, with the Connect tab allowing you to start typing the first or last name or username of the person you're looking for and watching autocomplete handle the rest. Finally (and perhaps most importantly), notifications for Interactions are in place, enabling busybodies to know right away when a tweet has been retweeted or favorited.
