This essay is about some of the down sides to the cold winter months and how employing a few psychological tools you can survive but thrive through the dark, cold winter months.Analysis shows that there's a general increase in levels of stress amongst the western population on the run up to the close of the year and thru the first few months into the next. This time of the year is also linked with increases in finance instability, increases in domestic disputes and mental health issues.
There are many factors concerned in this including the pressure on cash and time for the festive season, dark, cold winter months and being the time of year that folks re-assess there lives.
There are several methods 1 or 2 easy 'mind tools ' can help to ease this burden.
The issue of stress is a complex one and I do not intend this to be a comprehensive answer all for the issues. I do know that by taking a couple of minutes a day to clear out the strain and relax can have a major result on levels of stress. An easy self hypnosis trance induction that takes 20 minutes or less every day will significantly help. Just Google Self Hypnosis scripts and you'll find loads of good ones along with directions on the best way to utilize them.
The net result of spending this time will mean more focus, more energy and drive to get everything you need done. Of course the smart thing here is to use the induction to train the unconscious part of your intellect to be more effective. But more of that below.
We are noticeably impacted by sunlight and shorter daylight hours with spending more time inside. Again issues like GLOOMY and conditions are beyond the reach of this article, but by using creative visualization methods you may have an impact on how you are feeling. A simple idea like visualizing yourself relaxing on a warm beach somewhere can take a large amount of tension out of the day and bring you back to something similar to normality...but obviously there are some things we are able to do to extend the advantages still further.
One issue that appears to come up continually at the end of a year is that people re-appraise what they have achieved and their goals for next year. The impact of this for many individuals is disapproval over the past year and a feeling of nothing changing for the coming year. Here self hypnosis and NLP techniques can really help.
Your unconscious mind is the store house for all your memories, emotions and incessant behaviour. It is also where you keep your beliefs, values and identity. Using self hypnosis and NLP techniques you can draw plenty of these things into your consciousness and change them. The implications of this is gigantic for example:
Changing habits from nail chewing, smoking or getting to the gymnasium. Letting go of negative feelings like social anxiety, dread of failure and depressive states. Installing enabling concepts, sentiments and values such as self-confidence, abundance thinking, the facility to boost your business/role/relationships
By being able to let go of bad feelings around what you do not want and elevating your motivation for what you do desire you are making a self propelling comatose steered missile that's always driving you toward a better life.
Imagine having the ability to do this in 20 minutes a day and taking as much effort on it as you would a pussy sleep. Now for the bad news, sometimes getting this level of proficiency takes training. Any good self hypnosis course will give you the tools, process and practice to be in a position to do this quickly and easily. These kind of courses only take one or two days and are an excellent investment of time and money.
Think for an instant about all of the stress and strain of life sometimes and consider the ramifications of not only surviving but thriving, growing and developing a better future just through a regular 20 minute kitty nap...
